2. Tom asks how many states there are in the United States.
3. Pete wondered who had been the first president of America.
4. Kate said that Nick had left for Kursk and she also said that he wouldn’t be at the party the next day.
5. Jane asked Olga if she would join them the next day.
6. The teacher said to the pupils that boy was very curious, and she also said that he always asked a lot of questions.
7. The tourist said that the rainfall had continued for the whole week.
8. Nick said he was curious to know what had happened to her.
9. Jane asked me if I could (или was able to) come for 5 o’clock tea the next day.
10. Pete asked Nick if he would like to join them for a football game.
11. The Browns said they had moved in a new flat and they also said that their flat was large.
