When I asked my friends how to make the world better, I heard a lot of differing answers from each other. Many people say that we need to destroy the world to foundations and to create a new one. Some believe that Utopia is the only way out, while others think that the world cannot be changed at all. My Opinion also can be wrong.
I was impressed by the recent events inJapan. Who could think that such a successful country will turn into that Chaos? City Fukushima has been swept away, thousands of people died, even more are still missing. Nobody is indifferent to this tragedy.
The Film “Apocalipsis 2011: Japan” was shown on TV some days ago. Not only the reasons and the result of natural disasters were shown, but also how people are overcoming their grief. Residents of Japan united their efforts for searching for those who have survived, they open the doors of their houses for people, who have lost their homes. In spite the fact that most products are disappearing from supermarkets, not a single shop has risen the prices. Nobody tries to get rich on Tragedy. The Japanese the other way round rally in the Fight with Disaster.
What is it? Internal culture of a single whole Nation, respect to each other… I remember the events of the Crash on Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydro-electric power station in 2009. Scared people forsaken their housesin a hurry, there were endless turns on filling stations, and the cost of benzine was increased, the cost of foodstuffs was changed too in shops. Some time later they said that we had to find out, who was guilty of those sudden rising prices, but everything remained on the level of discussion.
The Situation at the metro “Lubyanke” was not less tragic. Many people were killed because of the explosion, there were many victims. But there were also such taxi-drivers who tried to get rich on people’s tragedy, increasing the cost of their service. At the same time there were many people willing to help without any payment but those who wanted just money were breaking their car’s glass.
May be those people, who get rich on people’s troubles, think that they make world better… Their own world? We are often displeased with our Government, but I think, everything is within ourselves. Until we are kinder, we can’t change the world. We must begin with ourselves. “Every one of us sees only his own fourteen stones.”
