While the explorer was sleeping a heavy rain stated. The explorer jumped out of the tent in fright, and saw that her tent would soon collapse! Oh, no! She ran around looking for sticks to prop up the tent. Suddenly a snake crept by. The explorer stopped in her tracks. Oh, no she whispered... What CAN I do? Then she slowly stepped back reached behind her. She felt a stone and grabbed it. She threw it at the snake! The explorer hit the snake right in the middle. The snake hissed and slithered away. Then the rain suddenly stopped. Hooray! the explorer said. I'm saved! Then she carefully fixed the tent and went bavk inside.
