Write a letter to your pen-friend in which you tell him/her what kind of book you read last and who recommended you to read it what literary genre you prefer and why and give some pieces of advice on how to spend holidays not to get bored

Dear friend,

Thanks for your letter. It was so nice to hear from you. I am sorry I haven’t written for a long time but I was busy with my project at school.  

In your letter, you ask me about books. The last book that I read was a detective novel. My sister recommended it because she enjoyed it a lot. As for me, the most interesting literary genres are science fiction and detective stories. The former one is very informative and useful. The latter is captivating and extremely interesting to read. Nonetheless, reading is not the only thing that you can do on holidays. So not to get bored you may also hang out with your friends, walk around the town, etc. Enjoy yourself and have fun!
