The weather was too bad. The Buckets suffered from a wind air that came everywhere. Cold weather makes people feel cold (или badly). Charlie and his family felt the same. So Capharlie’s father lost his job and they began to starve. Charlie began to save his energy(??): he moved slowly but he didn’t take food (??) from the others.
