There are a lot of different shops in our cities and towns.
Big department stores offer a wide range of goods: ready-made clothes, fabrics, shoes, sports goods, toys, china and glass, electrical appliances, linen, books and other goods. Customers can easily see goods on the counters.
Men's and women's clothing stores offer dresses, suits, trousers, blouses and shirts, underwear, coats, etc.
Supermarkets offer meat and sausages, fish, eggs, sugar, pasta, tea, coffee and what not.
At the grocer's we can buy flour, salt, sugar, rice and so on.
At the butcher's there's a wide choice of meat and poultry.
The baker's offers white and brown bread, rolls and biscuits.
At the greengrocer's we can buy ready-weighed and packed vegetables and fruits.
If we need to buy butter, cheese or other milk products, we go to a dairy.
