A few days ago, when my friends and I were walking in the park, we noticed that many children play "War". They were running around with their guns and pistols, they shoot and killed each other. It was a cruel game. And suddenly I came up with a great idea. I offered my friends to hold an action "Children against weapons". We went to my dad's friend, a rich businessman and he bought us about 100 inexpensive toys: balls, ballons, skipping ropes, kites, Teddy bears, model of cars and airplanes.
On Sunday we arrived at the park and suggested boys and girls playing there to exchange their weapons to another toy. They happily agreed. It was a funny event. The guys from our school theater were dressed in fairy-tale characters and they played with the children, we held contests and quizzes.
It was a day without a war and peace became a bit kinder.
