Germany is one of the most powerful, progressive and attractive countries in the whole world. Now it is one of some important economic, cultural, scientific and political centers of Western Europe. The country occupies a sizable part of the north-central Europe. Germany boggles the mind with its variety of landscapes: high mountains on the south, plains on the north, sweep of meadows and fields on the east and built-up land with a plenty of cities on the west.
Today, Germany is federal multiparty republic with two legislative houses. There is a president of the country, but in fact the head of government runs the country. Population of the countyr is approximately 81 million people. Most of them speak German, because it is a national language. The capital is Berlin. This is not only a political and administrative centre of Germany, but also touristic and cultural one. Thousands of people visit it annually to see its spectacular sightseeing attractions.
Actually, Germany offers its citizenry a lot of opportunities and perspectives: social security benefits and special programs, a high standard of living, perspective and well-paid job, quality training and education, no boarders to travel through Europe. Every year many people come to the country in flocks to participate in its grand festivals (Oktoberfest, for instance).
The country is glorious by its fantastic high-class beer, sausages, original architecture, technologies (cars, aircrafts, etc.), writers and philosophers. Germans are more formal in business and private relationships than other Europeans or Americans. They are overall tolerant, closed and intelligent individuals.
