The Russian Federation or Russia is located in Eastern Europe and Northern Asia. Its capital is Moscow. Russia is the biggest country in the world. The surface area is 17.1 million square kilometers like the USA and Europe together, 9000 kilometers from east to west and 5000 from north to south. Population is more than 140 000 000 people, there are ~80% Russians, ~4% Tatars, ~2% Ukrainians, ~1% Bashkirs, ~1% Chuvash, ~11% Armenians, Azerbaijanis and etc (и т.д.). That consists of republics, krais, oblasts, okrugs. The official language is Russian but has many other languages.
