Just fifty miles from the train, London is the truly southern and warm city of Great Britain, Brighton. He took a place on the shore of the famous English Channel in the county of East Sussex and is rightfully considered the largest seaside resort in the whole of England. Many people informally call Brighton "London at Sea", because this is really a significant resort town, which is loved by both locals and tourists from all over the world.
For the first time about this small at that time, the locality began talking in 1724 - a small village Brighton almost completely washed away the strongest storm, locals were forced to look for shelter in neighboring villages. It was not until 1750 that Brighton was completely restored - just at that time Dr. Richard Russell found out and told the whole of Great Britain that local sea air is very useful for health. By the way, in Brighton there is one of the best British universities - Brighton University, founded in 1968. To admire the surroundings of the city is most convenient for excursions on a double-decker bus - every half hour from the central pier of Brighton they depart and ply along the local streets, the bus makes 12 stops altogether. At the same time, you can go to any stop and have a good time to wander, and then take another bus - the ticket purchased will be valid for 24 hours.
