Fedor Konyukhov (Фёдор Конюхов) is a famous Russian traveller. He travelled five times around the world and he crossed the Atlantic ocean 17 times. Konyukhov set his foot both on the South and North Poles.
Konyukhov set several world records, too. For example, he crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a rowboat in 46 days.
Fedor Konyukhov is also a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church.
When he climbed Mt. Everest, he took the icon of St. Nicholas to the top with him.
