African Civetta is the only representative of the same name. These animals live in Africa in open spaces with high grass stands from Senegal to Somalia, south Namibia and in the eastern regions of South Africa. Dimensions of the beast visually sufficiently strongly can increase, when the excitation of the civet lifts the wool. And her fur is thick and long, especially on her back, closer to the tail. The paws, muzzle and tail end are absolutely black, most of the body is spotty striped.
