1. This is the story about 2 brothers George and Tom. They grew in a good family but then George started to work and Tom started to enjoy his life doing nothing useful

2. It's not clear for me who is the main character. I think they both quite important in this story. Tom wants to spend his money on luxuries and burn his life and George wants Tom to amend

3. This is also not clear from the text if its a real or imaginary story. I would say it could be real but probably it is not. At least it is not a fairytale.

4. I am reading the questions because I need to answer this. I've read the text because it was my hometask to read the text;

5. Know about what? If you mean know about Tom and George then I'd answer like that: I do not know much about them. But what I know is quite painful for me. I cant imaging Tom blackmailed his brother, I can't imagine Tom's experience. I just hope justice will prevail.

6. I think someone would kill Tom for his debts or he'd go to a gaol

7. I think different people will find different ideas here. I think their father should have spent more time on their culture and education. Author also said that nearly every family has a black sheep so it is nearly impossible to avoid this...

11. It is still not clear from the text which of my predictions were right. I still think Tom will have a bad end

12. Now I think the main idea is: do not spend your time and money on useless people. First 2 times I read the text I skipped the moment when George spent 500 pounds to settle Tom's affair and then saw Tom's again cheated him.

13. I'm not really sure about this question.I'm lucky there is no black sheep like Tom exist in my family. So this story can be useful for me in connection to how to choose friends of mine.  And as I said before I feel deep despair.
