Education is an important part of modern life. To be educated means to know a lot of necessary and useful things for life, and for this reason every decent person goes to school. Initially, Kazakh education begins at an early age. Children can start going to kindergarten from two years old, but this is not compulsory education. It depends on the decision of the parents and the desire of the children to visit this institution. However, the school is compulsory. Each child starts to go to school from the age of 6 to 16. Compulsory education in Kazakhstan is represented by three types of schools: primary, middle and upper classes. Elementary school teaches its students basic skills, among them reading, writing, counting. Many schools also offer foreign languages or other special disciplines at this age. The most important period is the high school, which starts with the 4th or 5th grade, depending on the school. This is the time when children begin to learn subjects such as biology, geography, chemistry, physics, computer science and some other new subjects. In the 9th form, children face a very important period in their life. They have to choose either to continue schooling, or to go to other types of educational institutions, such as college, college and others. If the student decides to continue his studies in the upper grades, which last two years, he can enter the university at the end of the school. Of course, this is just a general characteristic of education in Kazakhstan, but at the current time there may be some exceptions. For example, there are many specialized schools that only focus on certain subjects. Also, in addition to public schools, there are a number of private schools where education is not free.
