After prepositions.
Пример: How about making a cake?
With the phrases: its worth, cant stand, have difficulty, look forward to, cant help.
Пример: I cant stand eating spicy foods/

We use the to-infinitive:
To express purpose.
Пример: He went out to buy some milk.
After would like, would prefer, would love.
Пример: Id like to have a steak, please.
After too/enough
Пример: It was too difficulty for her to lear how to cook.
After ask, decide, explain, want, hope, expect, promise, refuse, etc.
Пример: He decided to order takeaway.
BUT make, let and modal verbs take infinitive without to.
Пример: I cant go to the cupermarket today.
