Some people think that a person who is fluent in a foreign language can easily work as an interpreter. Others argue that fluent knowledge isn't enough and the interpreter must be competent in many spheres. In my opinion,an interpreter, who works at some important negotiations, has to understand the discussed problem very well, otherwise a vital mistake is possible. Secondly, translators work with people from different countries and cultures and they should know their history and traditions. Moreover,if you translate at some scientific conference, you should know special terms on the subject. To sum up,I would say that not all those who knows language in a good level can be the interpreters, they have to develop in many fields every day.To my mind being a good interpreter is a hard work.
