Strawberry Pie1 cup sugar1 cup water3 tablespoons cornstarch1/4 cup strawberry gelatin5 cups fresh strawberries, halved1 (9-inch) baked pie crust Sweetened whipped cream or frozen whipped topping, thawed (optional)What To Do:Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat, and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute or until thickened.
Stir in gelatin until dissolved. Remove from heat; let cool 8-10 minutes.
Arrange strawberries in pie crust, and pour gelatin mixture over strawberries. Cover and chill 2 hours. Serve pie with whipped cream, if desired.
