A tall stone column stands by the river Thames in London.It is made of red granite,is about 21 metres high,weighs about 180 tons and is inscribed with hieroglyphs.It is called Cleopatra's Needle because it was brought to London from Alexandria,the royal capital of Cleopatra,the Queen of Egypt.
