I’m planning to start the new job now, and in fact it’s the field I like the most. I’m going on position of architect in big Planning and Design Office. It’s one of the biggest offices in our City and I was trying hard to get the place there. I’ll start as the project manager assistant and then I hope I’ll lead the projects by myself.
I spend a lot of time choosing the job for me and finally I understood what I really want to do.
I’ll tell you why I’ve chosen the architecture.
First of all, I think that people deserved to live in beautiful and comfortable houses and buildings.
I think that modern techniques allow us to use economical, but at the same time ecological means to create the buildings and other city constructions.
Today we all understand, that architecture involves not only the engineering but also the design of each particular building and enclosing area. So, it means we must cooperate with the specialists of different spheres like ecologists, landscape designers, road engineers, geologists, chemists and even psychologists.
The projects which are made in Planning and Design Office, represent the huge engineering mock-up. The project manager should be able to cooperate with different departments and official structures in different Ministries and Universities.
To become a project manager I need more practice and time.
I’ve made a list of tasks and I have to do my best to get positive results.
