US territory was inhabited by the Indians from ancient times. The
ancestors of the Indians migrated to America from North-East Asia.
In the North America there were about 400 of Indian tribes. They all spoke
different languages and had no written language.
All clothes of men and women were made of dressed bison skins. Men and women
were decorated with porcupine needles.
The Indians were engaged in hunting, gathering, agriculture. Northern Indians
hunted sea mammals.
After Europeans came to the continent the Indians began to
keep horses and with guns made hunting for bison easier and faster. Indians
grew crops and raised animals such as Turkey and Guinea pig.
