The standart 4-5 weeks' holiday that employees receive is insufficient for dealing with stress.
A usual work week lasts 5 days. People usually do not have much time to have a relaxation. They need a vacation which lasts at least a month. At the same time, there are a lot of people who think in a different way.
I think a holiday should be four or five weeks long for a few reasons. Firstly, if a person relaxes for a long time, he will be able to become bored to do it. Secondly, a human can start to forget different shades of his work. As result, worker, whose vacation lasts more than four weeks, can be stayed without salary.
However, some people claim that only holiday which lasts more than five weeks can help worker to deal with stress. Firstly, it is a great opportunity to go on a hike because such a way of spending leisure time takes more than just a month. Secondly, a lot of people suffer from such a problem as acclimatization. It can last for one or two weeks.
To sum up, I want to say that, despite the opinion that 4-5 week’s holiday is too short for real relaxation, I strongly believe that such a long vacancy can be harmful for person.
