Jack
Robinson (is) a famous explorer. Today he (has come) to the television
studio (to give) an interview about his exciting life. Oliver Shade an
interviewer, (is talking) to him:
Interviewer: Mr. Robinson, you (have been spending) your whole life (exploring) the
world. But we (know) that your special interest has always (been) the British
Isles. When did you (get) interested in traveling?
Jack Robinson: I can't tell you the exact day but I remember that when I
(was) a little boy l used (to read) a lot. And once my parents (gave) me a
book about British geography. When (was looking) through the book I (saw) a
picture of the Lake District. l (admired) the place greatly and at that
moment (decided) (to become) a traveler.
Interviewer: When did you first (go) to
the Lake District?
Jack Robinson: When I (left) school my father (took) me on a journey to
the North England and we (spent) a few days in the Lake District.
Interviewer: What other parts of England have you (explored)?
Jack Robinson: I (have been) to all the parts of the country and also to
Scotland, Wales and Ireland. But I have never (been) to India where I (am going) next
Monday.
Interviewer: Next Monday?
Jack Robinson: Yes. We (start) on
October 12, and at the end of the month we (arrive) in India.
Interviewer: Are you (going) by sea?
Jack Robinson: Yes, of course. I (will take)
part in the expedition (to discover) some lost Indian cities.
Interviewer:
