Hello.
Today, I`m going to talk to you about an important holiday in my country, Russia. In late spring, we celebrate Maslenitsa (Pancake Day), the holiday of pancakes. Maslenitsa lasts seven days. On that holiday we eat pancakes with sour cream, sing and dance in a ring, burn an effigy. Every day of Maslenitsa people once called. First day – appointment. On this day people make pancakes. Second day – games. On this day people sledding and eat the pancakes. On third day son-in-law comes to mother-in-law for pancakes. Every day has a name. At the end of the holiday we accompany the winter. Maslenitsa brings a lot of fun to children and adults. After the Maslenitsa take place the Lent.
