It’s located in Moscow. It is the largest library in the country. The
collection of books is about 17.5 millions. It was named the V.I. Lenin State
Library of the USSR in 1925. It was remained in 1992 as the The Russian State Library. The library has over 275 km
of shelves with more than 43 million items. There are more they 17
million books, 13 million journals, 350 thousand music scores and sound
records, about 150,000 maps and others. There
are also lot's of books in foreign languages. The foreign part
representing about 29 percent of the entire collection
