Even
if you only have a little money, you can still have a great time at your
local open-air market. The clothes are cheap, and the fruit is cheap,
too. Often, the food in your local supermarket has travelled a long way,
but at the market you know that you're buying food which has been
produced locally. The vegetables are fresh, even if you go late in the
day when there are only a few left. Support your local market and help
local farmers. Contact your Town Hall to find out if there are any
open-air markets in your area.
