It seems that during the past year hundreds of historians (3) ...(write) books which explain how it (4)....(start) , whose fault it was and how we (5) ...(still/feel) its effects today. No way before that one(6)...(change) the map of Europe so much: new nations(7)....(create) and many old ones (8)...(get) back their independence. But it is the millions who(9)....(kill) all over the world that we remember on Armistice Day. (10).....(we/learn) anything new when we read the latesr books and TV programmes about this terrible war? Possibly, but there always seems to be a war happening somewhere
