E x a m p l e : Greg : I was at the theatre .My seat was far from the stage .
Greg told his parents that he had been to the theatre.He added that his seat had been far from the stage.
1. S i m o n: l was late for the performance . l can't tell you anything about it.
2. K a t e: l came back at five. I prepared chicken salad for you.
3. B a r b a r a: We were at the circus. The show was wonderful.

1. Simon told his parents that he had been late to the performance. He added that he couldn't tell them anything about it. 2. Kate told her parents that she had come back at five. She added that she had prepared chicken salad for them. 3. Barbara told her parents that they had been at the circus and added, that the show had been wonderful.
