1. All the
common spaces (halls, canteen, corridors and stairs) should be decorated by
pupils in different techniques, including appliqués, graffiti,
etc., or at least by professional artists and designers in less formal and dull
colours.
2. Classes
of sciences, literature, geography, etc. should be decorated corresponding to
the subjects and equipped for the experiments.
3. The
teachers should carry out different experiments in front of the pupils to prove
theory from the books, and arouse interest to the subject.
4. Each
pupil has to be provided with a personal locker.
5. Each
floor should have a common day room with sofas, table games, a TV. Pupils
should have possibility to spend time together and prepare different activities
at school; common day rooms would be a safe decision.
6. All the
restrooms should be modern and offer all the possible privacy. Children of all
ages should have privacy in the restrooms.
7. Library
should be equipped with computers and Internet.
8. School
should organize more professional and special classes – cooking, informatics,
dancing, debates, and handicrafts as well. Teachers for these classes should be
out-of-school professionals, to avoid prejudices from both sides.
9. More
attention should be given to sports – I mean both the equipment and the events.
The school should teach both how to be sportsmen and how to be fans.
10. The
food at school should be more appetizing and varied, and should be served in
more attractive dinnerware.
