Student
Hello, Nicole! How
are you getting on?
Nicole
Great, thanks. And
you?
Student
Quite well, thank
you. By the way, have you taken the test yet?
Nicole
Unfortunately, I
haven’t. And what about you?
Student
I’m having it
tomorrow at 9 a.m. And you?
Nicole
I’m writing mine on
Tuesday and I’m afraid that we’ll have oral exams and I’m not so good at them.
And do you prefer oral or written
exams?
Student
As for me, I prefer
oral exams because I feel comfortable when I speak and I can watch teacher’s reactions while answering.
Nicole
Ok. Let’s wish us
both good luck. And what subjects do you like?
Student
My favourite subject
is English. I’m really keen on it and I practice it a lot. I watch films in
English with subtitles and listen to English songs and I have two pen-friends
in England.
Nicole
I see. Do you feel comfortable
with tomorrow’s test?
Student
Yes, I do. I think I
know enough to get a high grade.
Nicole
That’s nice. By the
way, we’re having a party tonight. Do you want to join?
Student
Of course, I do but
I’m sorry I can’t. I must sleep well before my exams and be full of energy.
Nicole
I see. So, see you
tomorrow then.
Student.
See you.
